If you don\u2019t already have one, please visit the link provided<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/eori\/apply-for-eori\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">(gov.uk)<\/a><\/strong> to apply. For submitting Safety &amp; Security Declarations, make sure you\u2019re registering as an <strong>organization<\/strong> rather than an individual, since individuals are not permitted to submit these types of declarations.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Access HMRC Services<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Once you have your EORI number, there are a few more steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Subscribe to the Customs Declaration Service (CDS) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/guidance\/get-access-to-the-customs-declaration-service\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a> <\/strong>if you plan to submit CDS declarations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Register to make an Entry Summary Declaration (ENS) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/guidance\/register-to-make-an-entry-summary-declaration-in-great-britain\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a> <\/strong>in Great Britain if you haven\u2019t done so already.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><br \/>Register on the Customs Declarations UK Platform<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>After completing those registrations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.customs-declarations.uk\/register\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>registration link<\/strong><\/a> provided to create your account on the Customs Declarations UK platform.<\/li>\n<li>Verify that you\u2019ve entered the <strong>correct GB EORI number<\/strong> (or XI EORI number, if applicable).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Authorize the software<\/strong> to submit declarations on your behalf by logging in with the <em>gov.uk<\/em> account that\u2019s linked to your EORI number.<\/li>\n<li>Update your <strong>payment method<\/strong> if you haven\u2019t already.<\/li>\n<li>Set up <strong>notification emails<\/strong> and upload your company logo (optional).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><br \/>Navigating the Platform<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Once registered, your dashboard may show zero declarations if you\u2019re just getting started. In the top-left corner, you\u2019ll find the main menu:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Profile<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>Confirm your GB EORI number is correct\u2014particularly important for Safety &amp; Security Declarations.<\/li>\n<li>Optionally, grant access to the Helpdesk if needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Authorize with HMRC<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>Click the link to authorize the software with your HMRC account.
